    Liz Dillon-Marable has provided professional development and training materials related to literacy, disabilities and technology for over 25 years. As research faculty at the Georgia Institute of Technology, she has:

  • Designed and directed programs for community members, teachers, organizations and businesses,
  •  
  • Trained trainers in the delivery of technology-based programs,
  •  
  • Conducted research and program evaluation for numerous literacy, technology and disability projects,
  •  
  • Directed recruitment efforts for live, interactive satellite literacy programs,
  •  
  • Designed and developed curriculum and training materials related to literacy, technology and disabilities,
  •  
  • Delivered teacher training and support for various technology-based programs.

    Liz has written four books on the integration of technology in adult literacy and has provided content expertise for the development of educational software and materials. As a Georgia-based consultant, she now provides program evaluation, instructional design, curriculum development and training for a variety of educational environments.

    She has presented her research nationally, has published in professional journals and publications, and has worked with national literacy and technology organizations to develop resources for adult literacy providers and their students. Her publications focus on the integration of technology into adult education, transformational learning, participatory education, change theory, and literacy and reading instruction.
